Read All About It..

I love, love, love bridal bargains. Yesterday, I decided to stop by Borders to get "inspired". Think I was getting boggled-down and overwhelmed with all the little details again. Anyway, the Bridal Bargains book was featured at the end of the wedding books aisle, so being the budget bride I am, I was naturally entranced. It's like a bible for brides everywhere. All day long, I was stressing about flowers because I am hoping to DIY most of the flower stuff to cut costs. I know DIY flowers is an arduous task, to put it mildly... but I think I can do it. Oooh, btw, if there are any brides out there who want to DIY the flowers, YOUTUBE is our friend!!! I found so many instructional videos on youtube!! So helpful. They make it look so easy.... so effortless. Do check them out!

Anyway, getting back to Bridal Bargains book.... They include detailed reviews of vendors and they provide a realistic price range of services for everything as well.. They also cover the details and the way things are "supposed" to work... and though I'm the last person on earth to abide by traditions for the sake of keeping up with tradition, it's helpful when someone tells you what the etiquette is for certain situations. The only drawback that I've noticed so far is that they are quite repetitive... I think the book could've been just as complete with half the length (and weight-- ouch on my shoulders!).
