Two Birds Bridesmaid Dresses!

Check out TwoBirds bridesmaid dresses! It's basically one jersey dress (jersey-- as we know, is super comfy and travels sooo well) that can be wrapped and warped into many different shapes and forms. It comes in a spectrum of colors (sadly, not in the purple/satin that I am looking for) and we all know jersey looks and feels good on EVERYONE. This would definitely solve the issue I mentioned below... if only it came in the purple color I want!

Bridesmaids Dresses/Colors

I am really in love with this color for my bridesmaids' dresses:

This part of the Vera Wang collection. It's actually meant to be a wedding dress, not a bridesmaid dress. I would sooo wear it if I could. My mom would frown soo disapprovingly if I didnt wear the traditional white/ivory, I think.

Really love the deep burgundy/purple bouquet she's holding in her hand.

I'm a little worried that I'm not giving my girls enough flexibility because I'm being so specific about the color of the dress. It's a real challenge to find this exact color/fabric. If anyone knows of any sources where we can get a hold of dresses of various designs in this color, please share!

I told the girls that they can choose any style as long as it is this color. I will be surprised if they don't end up wanting to END during this whole process.

What are your thoughts on identical vs different dresses for the bridesmaids? If you are planning a wedding, what did you choose and why? And if you're a bridesmaid, what would be your preference and why? I like the different dress thing because I feel like it will give everyone more freedom to choose the cut/style best suited for their body-type.

Wedddding bellls

Hello!

I am going to begin chronicling my wedding planning process. This blog may or may not have anything to do with wedding planning stuff. I guess I am just looking to share the information I've managed to gather in what little time I have, in hoping that my knowledge will be helpful for someone(s) else out there. I know how time consuming and overwhelming planning a wedding is, and many of you brides-to-be out there know what I mean... Let's help each other! :)

I'd really appreciate your feedback on all matters small and large. This goes to close friends and distant strangers from anywhere. I am hoping for an "interactive" experience! But hopefully you will all be kind with your words and suggestions as I am probably at the height of sensitivity right now due to massive wedding-related stress, as you can imagine. With that said, let's begin! hehe!

So-- on wedding bells, what do you think of the bells above? I guess it's not really a necessity, but I think it would be cute to have one of these on each table! at $1.75 each on shopforweddings.com. not too bad.... though little things do add up. :)
